Join us for this virtual CPD event as we look at recent developments & updates affecting conveyancing professionals. The session will feature the following speakers & topics:
10:00am: Welcome & Introductions – Steve Hamilton HLS President
10:02am: Contaminated Land Assessment in Hertfordshire – Nick Treble, Strategic Account Manager, Groundsure.
This session will provide an overview of Contaminated Land risks in UK property transactions with a focus on Hertfordshire
10:45am: HM Land Registry – Service update, Hertfordshire focus, & common enquiries with first registrations – Jamie Winch, Senior Delivery Manager, HM Land Registry
This session will cover HM Land Registry’s priorities over the next few years and provide an update on the Local Land Charges Programme. We will be taking a look at the programme’s progress to date, outlining the plans for the future, and looking at the impact this will have on Hertfordshire as well as the wider national conveyancing process. We will also cover HM Land Registry’s wider transformation initiatives, including Digital ID and e-Signatures, looking at how these may affect you in the future.
11:20am: Hertfordshire’s Mining Legacy and the modern day conveyancer – Nick Treble, Strategic Account manager, Groundsure
This session will provide an overview of Ground Stability risks in UK property transactions with a focus on Hertfordshire.
